The U.S. and China retained their respective positions of #1 and #2, but the U.S. now has 19% of 1st decile stocks increasing by 3 points from last month.

The U.S. and China retained their respective positions of #1 and #2, but the U.S. only has 16% of 1st decile stocks. However, China has secured 26% of the 1st decile positions with only 11% of the World-10 Billion.

Comparing the current level of 1st and 2nd stocks in each sector with overall sector weightings there are higher weights for 1st and 2nd decile stocks in Consumer cyclicals, Financials and Basic Materials. There are lower weights for Consumer non-cyclicals, Technology and Communications.

Within Britain, Financial is the largest sector at 28%. The next two largest sectors are both consumer related, Non-Cyclical at 21% and Cyclical at 17% representing a combined 38%, 9 percentage points more than the world overall.
