Service Change – Preferred Stock Securities Now Added to U.S. Stock Data Sheets

Today, we are starting to show preferred stock securities in the stock data sheets that are associated with the common stock company.

Investment Strategy Network has started to provide preferred stock securities information on the stock summary sheet stocks.

16 April, 2018 – Today, we are starting to show preferred stock securities in the stock data sheets that are associated with the common stock company. We are using the iShare U.S. Preferred Stock Index constituents as an inclusion directory.

The red circle in Figure 1 is a data sheet example for Goldman Sachs Group [GS]. Up to four preferred stocks are listed in the summary table.

Each of the preferred securities is shown with the identifier and most recent price, separated by a “/”. Example: ABCD1234/$25.00. The securities are listed from left to right with the lowest priced preferred in the first cell. Individual share prices increase as you move to the right. If there are no preferred securities associated with the common stock company in the ISN database, the first cell will indicate, “None Available”.

If you would like to know more about the index you can find information at www.ishares.com using the ticker [PFF] or on a Bloomberg terminal and using the identifier [SPTREFTR].

Only the preferred securities that pass the inclusion criteria for the index are included in the stock summary.
